Hand knitted Aran style jumper
Actual size 27ins chest (Approx 4-5 years)
100% Merino wool certified for baby garments
Natural and breathable yarn

Very soft and cosy
THE YARN: The yarn is 100% natural merino wool, from free range animals and is smooth with no loose fibres. It is very soft, smooth, non itchy and is certified as suitable for babies and older children. The high quality of this yarn is significantly more expensive that acrylic yarn and therefore is reflected in the price of the garment which is only very slightly over the cost of materials. However I think it is definately worth it. It is breathable and therefore will help prevent overheating.
MEASUREMENTS (actual measurements): Chest 69cm/27ins; Length 38cm/15ins; Sleeve length from underarm 28cm/11ins. This should fit a 4-5 year old child but this very approximate as all children are different. Please note; newly knitted garments will stretch if required and on wear. PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE BEFORE ORDERING AS I CAN ONLY ACCEPT RETURNS IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES.
THE STYLE: The front, back and sleeves are knitted in a traditional aran-style pattern with moss stitch borders. The neckline has plenty of stretch and has set-in sleeves
CARE: the yarn used is superwash treated making it easily washable - carefully by hand, preferably, or a gentle machine cycle at 40oC maximum using a laundry net; Do not use fabric softener; Do not leave to soak; Dry flat.
The colour is portrayed as close as possible.
