Hand knitted cardigan/jacket
Baby 100% Merino Superwash non-itch yarn

ABOUT THE YARN: The yarn used is 100% superwash extra fine baby merino wool which is beautifully soft and warm and is completely natural. It has a luxurious finished texture and is gentle on the skin making it perfect for baby garments. It has an Oeko-Tex certification which means that it has been tested and found completely free from harmful chemicals and that it is safe for baby articles.
Cable spun from 100% extra fine merino wool strands from free range animals, meaning that it is unlikely to itch and gives the garment extra elasticity. The yarn is of medium weight, slightly finer than aran yarn. The high quality of this yarn is significantly more expensive that acrylic yarn and therefore is reflected in the price of the garment which is only very slightly over the cost of materials. However I think it is definately worth it.
PATTERN: The cardigan is knitted in a stretchy rib stitch and has a small collar. The cardigan is finished with seven coordinating buttons.
APPROX. MEASUREMENTS: All around chest is 48cm/19ins; length from back of neck is 27cm/10.5 ins; Sleeve length from under arm is 19cm/7.5ins. The pattern of the cardigan and the type of yarn allows comfortable stretch. The sizes are ACTUAL measurements and not 'to fit'. Please check prior to ordering.
CARE: The yarn is Superwash treated but please wash carefully by hand or at 30°C on a gentle machine wash program. Do not use fabric softener and dry flat. Do not iron.
