Hand knitted Aran style jumper 100% Merino wool certified for baby garments

Very soft and cosy
THE YARN: The yarn is 100% natural merino wool, from free range animals and is smooth with no loose fibres. It is very soft, non itchy and is certified as suitable for babies and older children. The high quality of this yarn is significantly more expensive that acrylic yarn and therefore is reflected in the price of the garment which is only very slightly over the cost of materials. However I think it is definately worth it.
MEASUREMENTS (actual sizes): Chest 53cm21ins; Length 30.5cm12ins; Sleeve length from underarm 20cm8ins. Please note: newly knitted garments will stretch if required and on wear. Research suggests that this size is suitable for a 9-18month old baby but every child is different so PLEASE CHECK THE SIZE BEFORE ORDERING.
THE STYLE: The jumper is knitted in a mixture of traditional aran patterns which are continued on the front and sleeves. The neckline has plenty of stretch and, together with the raglan sleeves, makes the sweater both comfortable to wear and easy to put on and off.
CARE: the yarn used is superwash treated making it easily washable - carefully by hand or a gentle machine cycle at 40oC maximum in a washing net if possible; Do not use fabric softener; Do not leave to soak; Dry flat.
The colour is portrayed as closely as possible to the true colour but is dependant on the viewing
