Hand Knitted Jumper
Shoulder opening, set-in sleeves
100% Baby Merino Wool
23-24ins, 59-61cm chest
ABOUT THE YARN: The yarn used is 100% superwash extra fine baby merino wool which is beautifully soft and warm and is completely natural. It has a luxurious finished texture and is gentle on the skin making it perfect for baby garments. It has an Oeko-Tex certification which means that it has been tested and found completely free from harmful chemicals and that it is safe for baby articles.
Cable spun from 100% extra fine merino wool strands from free range animals, meaning that it is unlikely to itch and gives the garment extra elasticity. The yarn is of medium weight, slightly finer than aran yarn. It is breathable and comfy to wear.
The high quality of this yarn is significantly more expensive that acrylic yarn and therefore is reflected in the price of the garment which is only very slightly over the cost of materials. However I think it is definately worth it.
The jumper is finished with four wooden buttons at the shoulder. The stitch pattern is basket weave which gives the cardigan texture and added warmth, with a bit of stretch.
Measurements; Chest 23-24ins59-61cm; Length 11.5ins29cm; Sleeve length from underarm 8ins20cm. Please note: newly knitted garments will stretch if required.
PLEASE CHECK SIZES BEFORE ORDERING.
CARE: The yarn is Superwash treated but please wash carefully by hand or at 30°C on a gentle machine wash program. Do not use fabric softener and dry flat. Do not iron.
