Soap dish, ring dish Hand made in Yorkshire. This unique soap dish is hand made in my studio using only my hands. It is decorated with little circles and contains a hole in the centre to allow water to drain if used as a soap dish. It is glazed with a lovely pure white glaze which is one of my secret recipes. My pottery is entirely handmade. You may see tiny imperfections and signs of a handmade item. This is absolutely normal, I am not machine, that's why it's called handmade. This will only add a certain unicity to the item. Each soap dish is designed using the inspiration taken from my natural world theme. It measures approx 11 x 2.5cm, 4.5 x 1 inches. A little about 'WIKTORSKI CERAMICS' Each piece is individually hand-made as an exclusive one-off piece of contemporary art and will vary slightly in colour, texture and design. I allow the obvious joins in the clay to be totally visible to the eye as it has become an important feature to my ceramics as is the natural, organic nature of my work. Once the piece is made it is left to dry for approximately one week. It is then fired for 10 hours to biscuit temperature. The piece is then glazed using one or two of my secret recipes and fired to stoneware temperature for a further 12 hours. The piece is then ready to send to my customers. As you can appreciate this is a very lengthy process which is reflected in the price and quality of my work.
