Handcrafted Collage of British Butterflies

This artwork is an original collage of two British butterflies flitting amongst some flowers which have been re-engineered in my imagination! The top butterfly is a Gatekeeper which is a medium sized butterfly found in gateways and hedgerows and is widespread in Southern England .Pretty orange and brown butterfly that has some variations in colour and wing markings. The lower butterfly is a Marbled White which is one I see regularly on the Downs flitting about on the wild flowers.Very widespread in southern Britain with its distinctive black and white colouring. These butterflies are collaged onto white board with flowers and text and framed with an off-white mount board which is not attached as this provides greater choice for framing decisions. The collage will be presented in a clear protective sleeve. This artwork would look look great on any wall and more together would create a colourful display.A wonderful gift for a butterfly enthusiast or nature lover. The collage measures 20 x 20cms.
