Unique Handcrafted Collage of a Red Admiral Butterfly with Quirky Botanicals

This artwork is a collage of a British Red Admiral butterfly and I have created a fantasy flower on which it can alight! The butterfly is common in gardens anywhere in Britain and Ireland during summer but recently overwinters in Britain. My butterfly has emerged from a Victorian textbook having been copied from the colour plate. The butterfly has been collaged onto a white board with abstract text to emphasise the vivid colours of the butterfly's wings. A hybridised botanical creation of my imagination attracts the butterfly .The colours of the this flowery mash up compliment those of the Red Admiral so your senses will be filled with reds, greens, black brown and white.Sadly no such flowers exist in nature! It was fun to let my mind dream though. This artwork is unique and reflects my love and appreciation of these fabulous flying creatures which will appeal to all those who share such feelings for our wonderful magical natural world. These pictures would enhance a wall in any room and would make a thoughtful gift for nature enthusiasts. Two or more grouped together would really make a statement display. .The board is framed with a card mount but not attached as this provides a choice when framing - here you have endless choices as the picture can be displayed with mountboards of different colours and size. The artwork measures 20 x 20cms and will be presented in a protective sleeve.
