Full description
A beautiful bottle green feathered hair clip headpiece, inspired by the dramatic plume styles of the Regency era.
The Darcy is designed to sit high on the head, creating that wonderfully elegant and theatrical Regency silhouette. A striking accessory for Regency events, Jane Austen and Bridgerton-inspired occasions, vintage gatherings, weddings, balls and period-inspired outfits.
Created with rigid, curled bottle green goose feathers, softened with matching curled ostrich feather fronds. The feather arrangement is complemented by a bottle green satin ribbon ruffle, backed with a matching bottle green tulle ruffle to add texture and movement.
The design is finished with a beautiful cluster of mixed beads, including rainbow AB emerald crystals, dark teal glass pearls and tiny green beads, creating a subtle jewel-like shimmer amongst the feathers.
The back is neatly finished on a rectangle of dark green felt, with a 46mm metal crocodile clip facing downwards.
The clip is covered with bottle green satin ribbon for a coordinated finish and can be secured into an updo or swept-back hairstyle.
Best worn high on the side or towards the back of the head for a wonderfully dramatic Regency look.
