A pretty ivory rose and feather hair clip, from my Regency Penny Blossom collection at Indigo Daisy Regency.
This is a ready-made piece and can be dispatched straight away.
Created with a soft ivory fabric rose, delicately tinged with pale pink along the edges and underside of the petals. It is embellished with natural ostrich feather fronds, soft ivory fluff feathers, delicate ivory lace and a pretty silvertone pave rhinestone flower at the centre.
The design is finished with graceful ivory satin and organza ribbon trails, creating the elegant elongated silhouette associated with Regency hairstyles.
The flower is attached to a 56mm metal croc clip, mounted on a white felt backing for securing into the hair.
The clip and ribbon trails have been positioned to complement the flower embellishment rather than sitting directly in line behind it, giving the piece a more decorative, asymmetrical arrangement when worn.
A lovely accessory for a wedding, Regency hairstyle, historical event, Jane Austen Festival or elegant period-inspired outfit.
It can also be used as a detachable floral decoration for a plain straw bonnet, making it a versatile addition to a Regency-inspired wardrobe.
