Mermaid purse is a folksy name for the egg case of a ray, skate or shark. It protects the baby animal while it develops. This valet tray mimics that natural form. It will protect your small items, stopping them from getting lost. Each one is unique, handmade by me from punctured bicycle inner tubes and brass rivets. You'll receive a random tray which may have writing, wear, stripes, white marks, or other characteristics from its previous life inside a bicycle tyre. While all inner tubes are washed thoroughly before being remade into new products, they may still mark light surfaces. While the rivets are brass, I recommend you wipe the valets clean and don't let them sit in water. Any stamps on the inner tube (both my logo and those from the inner tube manufacturer) are done with alcohol soluble inks, so keep away from hand sanitisers and harsh cleansers.
