Full description
A folkloric, fae water maiden drifts peacefully in her turquoise lagoon. Rich in authentic British species, the pool features water lilies, duckweed, whirligig beetles, pond skaters and a Rudd fish.
.
Her own scales and fins mimic those of the Rudd. A soft glow emanates from her, with golden highlights sparking off the surrounding plants.
.
Pond Spirit evolved out of my passion for folklore: a freshwater maiden assembled from years of collecting myths, stories and strange little pieces of the natural world. She very much belongs to the water cryptid mythological archetype.
