Full description
Fans of skulls, jewel tones and houseplants will fall in love with this vibrant and edgy piece.
A skull cradles a snake plant and trailing devil's ivy against a richly patterned, forgotten-forest background.
Molten gold accents set off the grungy vibes perfectly and would make a fab addition to any alt style or maximalist room.

COLOUR PALETTE
Royal blue, deep purple, vibrant coral, sky blue, cream and metallic gold, with rich greens and deep shadows.
Please note that metallic details can appear slightly different as the light changes.
VISUAL INFLUENCES:
Gustav Klimt's use of burnished gold
Alma W. Thomas' swirling, repeated dashes of colour, providing contours and movement
Hilma Af Klint's colour fields, but more saturated as an Ember twist
The Japanese art of Kintsugi, where broken items are repaired with gold, resulting in a uniquely beautiful treasure.
FRAMING
The artwork fits a standard A4 frame without a mount or an A3 frame with an A4 mount. The frame shown in the photographs is a display suggestion and is not included.
Widely available ready-made frames make it easy to display without requiring costly bespoke framing.
CARE
The surface will be sealed with Dorland's Wax Medium for added protection, but the painting is not waterproof. Please keep it dry and display it away from strong, direct sunlight to preserve the colours.
