Autumn's colours but not your standard pumpkin and fallen leaves tones. I fell in love with the yarn cake because of its beautiful combination of white and brick red with dark and moss green and Delft blue with navy. In paper that list of colours should not work but it does beautifully in this cake yarn. And I am still pinching myself for not buying more of this yarn. The resulting shawl is an even soft fabric, not heavy, and very warm. This triangle lace shawl measures 1 metre deep by 2 metres wingspan. I am afraid if you want the luxurious soft feel of wool, you will need to delicate hand wash in cold water, towel dry, shape while damp and air dry flat.

Hello Autumn! Been delaying to greet the day with that statement but the fallen leaves carpet on my driveway says Summer is not coming back. Dusk is creeping in earlier each day and soon it will be time to knit by the fire or a nice South facing window. Looking forward to evenings nestled up in my favourite chair with a cup of brew, a book and my knitting.
