Full description
Two dog friends gazing across distant hills as the sun goes down. All made from hand painted cotton paper which has been stamped with text, covered with cling film or embellished with metallic paints and finally wiggled in place with free motion sewing. The paper is cut instead of torn so the edges remain smooth and crisp. Some simple machine embroidery stitches then follow a couple of hills to add detail. The two friends are ironed in place and a piece of quirky text printed to hand made paper is attached. The sun is painted card using bright gold metallic paint. The piece is then mounted using a double antique white mount with an aperture size of 13cm. The frame is white wood and measures 28.5cm. The perfect gift for dog lovers
