Full description
A beautiful one-of-a-kind handmade shallow bowl, turned from a combination of oak, purpleheart and lacewood.
The natural character of the oak contrasts beautifully with the rich purple tones of the purpleheart stripes, while the lacewood base adds another layer of colour and grain to the piece.
Measuring approximately 17.5cm in diameter, 6cm high and 3.5cm deep, it makes a lovely decorative bowl or a stylish addition to a coffee table, sideboard or display shelf.
Each piece is individually hand turned in my Lancashire workshop, allowing the natural grain, colour and character of the timber to shine through.
As with all handmade woodturning, this is a unique one-off piece and the exact grain pattern will never be repeated.

Please note: This piece is intended primarily for decorative use. It has been finished with a food safe finish but isn't to be used with wet foods. Moisture may mark the finish.
As with all natural wood products, variations in grain, colour, knots and natural features are part of the beauty of the piece and should be expected. These are not imperfections - they are what make each piece genuinely one of a kind.
