Hello, I’m Sara, my Partner has been woodturning a while now, he's in the workshop most weekends and has made many beautiful things. Unfortunately, I've run out of places to display his makes, so after lots and lots of nagging he's finally allowed me to sell and share his work. So I've opened up a little shop. I hope you love his work as much as I do.
Here a bit of info about Russ.
He's a hobby woodturner from Lancashire with a passion for creating unique handcrafted pieces from beautiful natural timber.
He works mainly with locally and sustainably sourced wood from fallen, storm-damaged or reclaimed trees, alongside carefully selected hardwood blanks from local suppliers. He loves bringing out the natural character, grain and imperfections that make every piece of wood special.
Each item is individually handcrafted on the lathe in his small workshop and no two pieces are ever the same. From bowls and vases to coasters, seasonal decorations and gift items, every piece is made with care, patience and attention to detail.
Many of the pieces feature natural grain patterns, knots, spalting or character cracks which are often incorporated into the final design to celebrate the wood’s natural beauty.
