An ultra-thin, handmade gift box with separate lid designed primarily for necklaces. These boxes use quality Art Deco style paper which would match well with the more abstract, avant garde designs. The boxes are designed primarily for necklaces but could, of course be used for other similar size items not requiring a deep box. The box is complete and ready to use, requiring no further assembly, and the paper completely covers the exterior and interior of both the lid and the base with no cardboard showing. It measures 12.5cm by 7.5cm closed. Outside height is 1.7cm and internal box depth is 1.5cm. The box is thin enough to be sent through the normal post as a large letter rather than the more expensive small parcel rate. Ideal for all items requiring a low profile, rectangular shape box, such as delicate necklaces but it is, of course, suitable for other small items requiring extra protection. Each box comes with its own specially designed transport box for mailing out to a customer, relative or friend, still within the large letter postal cost.
