Full description
This ceramic tile is made by hand. Layers of slip were applied before a real fern leaf was pressed into the clay to capture its delicate shape and fine veins. The surface is decorated with layered slip and finished with a translucent glaze that brings out the soft blues and greens, with touches of earthy red along the leaf. The background carries a subtle wave texture, adding quiet movement behind the botanical form.
