The Dawn Hare is a one-of-a-kind wearable artwork from my Curious Adornments collection of handmade folk-art talismans.
Inspired by folklore, nature and transformation, this striking hare necklace has been created using hand-dyed fabric, hand embroidery, painted details, beads and embellishments, layered onto a fabric base and finished with a soft felt backing for comfort when worn.
The Dawn Hare races across a landscape of bright flowers and morning light, carrying the energy of fresh beginnings and new possibilities. Vibrant oranges, sunny yellows and joyful pinks celebrate the first light of day and the promise of adventures yet to come.
For centuries, hares have appeared in folklore as symbols of renewal, abundance and transformation. Swift, alert and full of life, the Dawn Hare encourages us to embrace change, trust our instincts and leap boldly towards our dreams.
Designed and handmade by textile artist Leah Mason in her Leicestershire garden studio, each Curious Adornment is individually crafted and completely unique.
