This 18th birthday card is a great little gift and card in one to celebrate an 18th birthday. The card contains a stunning fused glass 18 birthday keepsake which can be detached from the card and displayed as a permanent memento of the occasion and reminder of the person that gifted it. It's an ideal combination of a card and present in one for when you want to send a little more than just a card. I've created the number 18 using beautiful mint green coloured glass dots with a splash of fuchsia coloured glass to decorate the background. Fusing it all on to clear glass allows the light to really enhance the colours. It has a fuchsia coloured organza ribbon to hang it by. Not including cutting the glass and creating the decoration, the process of fusing and cooling the piece takes about 20 hours to ensure that the glass doesn't crack. The keepsake measures approximately 5cm square. The card is 13.5cm square tri fold, acid and lignin free and the card and envelope can be recycled in your household recycling. All of my keepsakes are handmade in small batches so you can be assured that you are buying a unique gift as no two will be exactly the same.
