About this item
Title: "Guheshwari: Secret Goddess" I was asked to create an image that evoked the energy of this important, but little known goddess. Her main temple is in Nepal, not far from the sacred site of Pushpatinath on the Bhagmati River. It is one of the sites made holy by the presence of a fragment of the Mother Goddess that fell to earth there. Guheshwari is that aspect of the Great Goddess that represents sexuality and fertility. As such she is particularly worshipped during female rites of passage and initiation into the secrets of womanhood. Size: the image is approx. 15.5" x 11.5", printed on A3 archival Hahnemuhle 308 gm. photo rag paper. All prints are protected in a cellophane sleeve and sent in a post tube by Special Delivery International Signed For to ensure fast and safe delivery.
