Black flowers are very unusual on old pottery, so we were thrilled to find this piece on the beach. The pendant is a piece of a plate or shallow dish. We have tumbled the pendant so it is clean and smooth, and mounted it using sterling silver. The pendant is 3 cm high, 5.5 cm wide and 6 mm thick. The total length of the chain plus pendant is 57 cm (22.5 imches). Our jewellery is individually hand made in Chudleigh, Devon. We collect our materials ourselves, mainly from local beaches. Each piece of pottery is unique, so each piece of jewellery is unique. We only use materials which have rounded edges, which is why we tumble pieces which have rough edges (this continues the process begun by the waves) until they are smooth. The pendant will be delivered by Royal Mail. We usually post items within one working day of receiving payment.
