About this item
Although I am happy with the quality of this scarf, it was one of my first and did not come out as long as I was expecting it to. A handwoven scarf, made with lambswool, hand spun yarn (a silk and merino blend) and a fancy yarn. Mostly neutral in colour, with some teal-blue and pops of green. The hand spun yarn was made as part of one of my projects whilst I was studying my degree, so this has used up some of it. The fancy yarn has been used as stripes down the length of the scarf, sometimes woven in, sometimes leaving little sections of floats. This scarf has been handwoven, tassels at either end twisted, washed by hand, had the edges trimmed and then pressed. Width: 9 Inches Length: 65 Inches Please note that the length measurement includes the tassels.
