Dating back to the 13th Century, Dunvegan Castle is located on the eastern shore of Loch Dunvegan on the beautiful Isle of Skye. Working from my home studio on the beautiful Isle of Mull off the west coast of Scotland, my paintings are inspired by the wonderful Seascapes, Landscapes and Wildlife that surround me. It is A3 in size- roughly 16.5 inches x 11.5 inches and is painted on high quality watercolour paper.

I'm a lapsed bird watcher. I've taken to putting watercolours of birds around the house to remind me of what I'm missing. This piece resides in the bedroom along with a heron, and avocet. Nicely finishes off that trio. Lovely quality, will look for more from this artist.
