Passionate Purple was an easy title for this beaded damselfly duo mixed media box frame. It combines a range of materials from pre-loved beads, a recycled tie fabric background and paper covered mount plus a piece from a Christmas decoration and faux fabric leaves. The enamelled pansy is from an old scarf clip. There's even a little wooden purple bead with a heart symbol just in case you were wondering where the passion is! The wings on these beasties give the clue to them being damselflies because, at rest, they are laid back along the body whereas dragonfly wings are always splayed open. A good observation tip.
