This kit will teach you how to create an attractive three colour Dorset Cross wheel button with a floral design. It is more suitable for button makers with some experience of Dorset Button making. The kit contains instructions and a chart for working the design, plus suggestions for making the button your own, a 25 mm brass ring and suitable threads in three colours for covering the ring, laying the spokes and working the pattern. The thread colours are a light grey, pink and a red cotton.

I love making traditional Dorset buttons and wanted to produce a kit to challenge button makers who have mastered the basic cross wheel but feel ready to move on.

Many thanks.This arrived promptly. Definitely worth the money. The detailed instructions are better than I have seen, and there's plenty of different traditional designs to try. If you were going for upgrades, I would suggest more colour photos, to make it easier to see the detail and or instructions for non-traditional effects
