About this item
The basis of this lovely bauble is a print of one of my original designs; simple black lines hand-stitched onto natural unbleached calico have been carefully reproduced onto a beautiful neutral coloured linen fabric by the team at Woven Monkey. Hand embellishment with an array of sequins in gold and iridescent white adds a burst of colour and sparkle to the front of the bauble, with the reverse a plain white wool felt. Front and reverse sides are hand-stitched together with a pale gold thread, lightly filled with a synthetic toy stuffing and a white hanging ribbon tied to the top. The main body of the bauble measures approx. 9cm in diameter. This pretty bauble would make a beautiful hand-crafted addition to any festive tree!

My work predominantly comprises hand cut and burnished lino prints, inspired by the natural world and those important people in my life. I love traditional Christmas decorations; here the classic bauble has been given a hand crafted twist.
