No moulds are used. EACH ITEM IS TOTALLY UNIQUE. The material used is a very refined modelling Clay---- A Porcelain substitute. It fires a lot stronger than Porcelain, so intricate and fine detail can be used without it becoming too fragile! It also fires very light....... so size is not restricted to a small sculpture aqnd large Designs can be produced ! Exquisite, realistic detail, beautifully painted. NOTE- this brooch looks stunning on black or even Red ! Silver Gilt Brooch Back- Bar. With locking clasp. Approximate size 4.5 cm (1 3/4 inches) across and 3.5 cm (1 1/2 inches) down. The Poppy is painted in Cadmium Red (Hue), with subtle highlights Washable. Supplied in a elegant black presentation box, with a black velvet insert. NOTE- THIS BROOCH IS MADE TO ORDER, SO IT WILL BE SIMULAR, BUT A UNIQUE PIECE OF ARTWORK!
