This etched copper bangle bearing imagery of trees has been heat treated to create a vibrant multicoloured patina: this will deepen over time. I have developed a technique of literally 'painting' with a flame to manipulate the shape and direction of the colours. Although there is a degree of control, each piece is unique, as the colour patina cannot be replicated exactly.
