Working full time and knitting part time was not really working for me. So I retired early and decided to enjoy my life more.

One day, I received an email from someone who advised they were from the costume department of a new television series that was to be filmed here in Scotland - she had seen my work on another website and asked if I could do "Scottish" things - I said yes without really knowing what I was entering into. That TV production was the major TV series "Outlander!"

Anyway, I live in the beautiful Scottish Borders, about 30 miles from the ancient city of Edinburgh but I have to admit, although Edinburgh is my most favourite city to visit, I am a country girl at heart
