****What do I do?****
I create wearable art, in the form of wire wrapped jewellery.
The wrapping itself contains codes that only the right person will recognise as his/her own. And thus my items make their way to the right person at the right time.
The items listed in my shop are not just jewellery pieces; they are dreams made reality. They are inspired and driven by the information contained within the stone. Each pendant; each earring; is a one of a kind item; they may look the same; but each has its uniqueness. It may be through the medium I use; or the width of the crochet stitch; or the fold of the wire. Each piece is a moment in time; a thought made real; a feeling created in solid form.
I am a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers in the UK and hold my own Hallmark with the London Assay Office.
****Why do I do it?****
I have an innate creativity; which I can not deny, repress or shut off.
I come from a long line of creative minds.
My grandparents were entrepreneurs on both side; they were owners of pubs tailor shops, embroiders, furniture makers.
My parents loved to draw and create furniture from wrought iron.
My brother is a painter, digital artist and musician.
My own creative passions involve handmade jewellery using a variety of traditional crafts or more modern techniques as well as using photography as a way of expressing myself.
Recently I started create channelled paintings for groups, travels and individuals - bringing through codes for those that need it. I love giving life to basic "ingredients" - seeing a stone, a threat of yarn, a piece of wire, a piece of wood; or even a shell and transforming it into something new.
Aesthetically speaking I love things that are symmetrical; uniform; but also intricate and imaginative, almost eclectic - similar to the pieces you see online.
Creativity is at the heart of my being - through this medium I can give life to my inner thoughts, feelings and emotions. I want to offer my visitors a unique experience; a way of expressing themselves; giving them a voice; providing them an opportunity to show their appreciation to themselves and others.
If I was to have a motto it would be "If you can think it you can create it".
*****Who am I?!*******
My name is Gabriella Székely.
I am the designer, creator, producer, photographer, web designer/manager, advertiser, packer, emailer, accountant of the business.
All these aspects of the business provide an outlet to my creativity and an opportunity to be independent and build a unique brand.
The Logo for my brand, is the work of my talented brother.
When I am not twisting wire or crochet something; I enjoying being in nature, travel to sacred sites; try to grow flowers or other plants, take photos and exist as a human.
I have a rich inner world that is fed by the books I read; the films I watch or the places I visit.
Many of the stones, shells, sea glass pieces you find in my pendants are pieces of the places I have visited; so when you buy a pendant you are actually buying a memory to create a new one.
For the time being I have a day job; which takes up the 9-5 part of my week, but in the evening and at the weekends I spend my time building my jewellery and photography brand.
Creativity is a full-time event!
