Welcome to Fettlin House.
I make hand-knit accessories inspired by the changing landscape of the Lincolnshire Wolds and the wider countryside around it. The colours, textures and quiet shifts of the seasons run through each collection, from open marshes and field margins to sheltered valleys, woodland edges and winter ground.
Working with natural fibres and traditional knitting techniques, I create small batches of mitts, cowls, scarves, wraps and shawls, each shaped slowly by hand. Every piece begins with a yarn and a landscape, drawing on the muted tones and textures of the places I know best.
The collections are rooted in place, but designed for everyday wear: soft, practical knits made to be used, enjoyed and kept.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

A soft kerchief worked in Drops Flora, Drops Alpaca and Drops Kid-Silk for a warm, lightly brushed fabric.
The blend creates a soft texture with gentle warmth and a light halo.
Shaped in simple Hedgerow lines, it forms quiet bramble-shadows.
Small, natural variations may appear in the fabric. They are simply the quiet marks of hand-work.
Natural fibres only.
Length approx. 125cm
Width (at widest part) approx. 16cm
Handwash cool, reshape while damp, dry flat.
A small length of matching yarn is included for simple mending.
Hand-shaped in the Lincolnshire Wolds, one piece at a time.
Your knit will come in a slim cardboard box. If it's a gift, I can add an outer layer for your address.
