A soft cowl worked in the round in Drops Flora with Drops Sky held together for a light, muted fabric. The blend creates a soft, airy fabric with gentle warmth and little weight, sitting comfortably around the neck without bulk. Shaped in simple Fieldmargin lines, it trails the pale hush of field-edges and sits comfortably around the neck. Small, natural variations may appear in the fabric. They are simply the quiet marks of hand-work. Natural fibres only. Depth approx. 24 cm Circumference approx. 65 cm Handwash cool, reshape while damp, dry flat. A small length of matching yarn is included for simple mending. Hand-shaped in the Lincolnshire Wolds, one piece at a time. Your knit will come in a slim cardboard box. If it is a gift, I can add an outer layer for your address.

Welcome to Fettlin House. I make hand-knit accessories inspired by the changing landscape of the Lincolnshire Wolds and the wider countryside around it. The colours, textures and quiet shifts of the seasons run through each collection, from open marshes and field margins to sheltered valleys, woodland edges and winter ground. Working with natural fibres and traditional knitting techniques, I create small batches of mitts, cowls, scarves, wraps and shawls, each shaped slowly by hand. Every piece begins with a yarn and a landscape, drawing on the muted tones and textures of the places I know best. The collections are rooted in place, but designed for everyday wear: soft, practical knits made to be used, enjoyed and kept.
