Drawing taken from a self initiated project of the illustrator and designer James Nicholls, designed to show the scientific and everyday uses* of all 118 elements in the periodic table as an educational and entertaining piece of wall art, in a more engaging way than a standard periodic table. Every element has been hand drawn by the artist over the course of 3 years. Each drawing shows the atomic number, the symbol, and with the use of colour the group that the element falls into.

Part of my Scientific Anniversaries project, this print uses drawings from my Periodic Table to depict the alloys and compounds traditionally given as anniversary gifts. Here, cotton found in clothes represents the 2nd anniversary, combining C (Carbon), H (Hydrogen), O (Oxygen) and N (Nitrogen).
