Full description
A whimsical textile landscape with a colourful sunset sky. The sky has been painted and then printed to fabric Layers of old curtain samples have then been carefully laid down to create hills which are then free motion wobbled in place. A cute little fabric cottage is ironed in place and some mulberry bark smoke flows gently from the chimney. Some scrim and hand dyed silk has been added along the bottom of the picture and beside the cottage for texture, and the final step is to attach some text printed to hand made paper. The work is then double mounted with antique white mounts ( aperture size is 13cm) and framed in a white wooden frame measuring 28.5 cm.
