THE STUMP is an original piece of coastal art, created from naturally sea-weathered driftwood that has retained some of its original bark, giving it wonderful texture and character.
This highly individual driftwood sculpture with a smooth stone base, has been lovingly handmade and individually crafted by Steve Hutchins of Grove House Art.
Collected from the beaches of South Devon, the driftwood and stone have been carefully cleaned, air-dried and assembled by hand by Steve Hutchins of Grove House Art, preserving their natural beauty without altering their unique organic form.
The sculpture is mounted on a fixed metal rod, allowing it to be displayed at different angles and perspectives to suit your room or mood.
Perfect as a statement piece for a coffee table, sideboard, shelf or mantelpiece, it complements coastal, contemporary, rustic and minimalist interiors.
Living in beautiful South Devon, I spend many hours walking our local beaches, inspired by nature and the sound, movement and immense energy of the sea.
