This Highly Visual Striking Driftwood Sculpture is entitled BALANCING BOULDER
The distinctive boulder like form of the driftwood has been shaped entirely by the relentless action of the sea over time. One side displays flowing grain patterns and elegant natural curves, whilst the reverse reveals a fascinating collection of weathered hollows, knots and sculptural textures, offering two strikingly different visual perspectives, making every viewing angle a new discovery.
This highly individual driftwood sculpture mounted on a flat reclaimed wooden base, has been lovingly handmade and individually crafted by Steve Hutchins of Grove House Art.
The wooden base has been lightly polished with a premium finish natural beeswax to seal the surface, as well as providing a durable sheen to enhance the appearance.
To enhance the vision, decor and individual style of your home as a table centrepiece or perhaps sitting in a prominent position to grace your sideboard or display shelf.
The driftwood is connected with two fixed vertical metal rods, so the entire driftwood sculpture can be turned to different positions in your room, enabling you to enjoy its contrasting natural forms and ever changing visual character from a variety of angles.
The driftwood piece is completely natural and has not been altered in anyway and has been simply been air dried and gently brushed to remove any excess debris.
It is supplied with self adhesive cushion pads attached under the base, to protect the surface of where you wish to position and display the sculpture in your home.
Perfect as a stand alone beautiful natural sculptural piece, as well as any beach styled nautical themed decoration or visual display project.
