This Highly Visual Striking Driftwood Sculpture is entitled TWISTED
The distinctive twisted shape of the driftwood has been sculptured by nature and the surface enhanced by the relentless action of the sea over time. The shape follows the elegant natural curve in a 'whip like' pose, whilst the surface reveals a fascinating collection of weathered textures making every viewing angle a new discovery.
This highly individual driftwood sculpture is mounted on a flat reclaimed wooden base which has been lightly treated to provide a contrast and enhance the natural beauty of the driftwood. It has been lovingly handmade and individually crafted by Steve Hutchins of Grove House Art.
To enhance the vision, decor and individual style of your home as a table centrepiece or perhaps sitting in a prominent position to grace your sideboard or display shelf.
This strong sculptural display features a highly individual piece of sea weathered driftwood, collected personally by us from the shore when walking on our beautiful local beaches here in South Devon, mounted on a smooth piece of reclaimed wood and is securely mounted so the entire driftwood sculpture can be turned to different positions in your room, enabling you to enjoy its visual character from a variety of angles.
The driftwood piece itself is completely natural and has not been altered in anyway and has been simply been air dried and gently brushed to remove any excess debris.
It is supplied with self adhesive cushion pads attached under the base, to protect the surface of where you wish to position and display the sculpture in your home.
Perfect as a stand alone beautiful natural sculptural piece, as well as any beach styled nautical themed decoration or visual display project.
