Full description
A beautiful and thoughtful textile picture featuring a fabulous sunset photograph printed to fabric , with layers of textured fabric creating undulating hills. I have chosen lots of thicker textured fabric for the landscape, which I have deliberately frayed and then secured in place with wiggles and wobbles of free motion stitching. I love the way the picture draws your eye to the setting sun, plus the way that the branch moves slowly across the sky. The final touch is to attach some whimsical text printed to handmade paper. The frame is white wood and measures 28.5 cm square. It has a double antique mount with a 13cm aperture.
