Full description
A tote, shopping or little book bag upcycled from a classic vintage Sanderson print called Rose and Peony, and full of faded country house glamour. It has a small inside pocket for keys, and will fold up into its own little pouch, so you can keep it with you on the go, and be ready to avoid plastic bags.
This tote or shopper would make a great present for an end of summer birthday, or for anyone who loves a bit of Sanderson and country house style.
This is an unlined, simple but strong light-weight bag which will arrive folded up in its own pouch.
The bag measures 32 cm across the front and is 36 cm long. It is sewn with strong French seams.
There is a pair of handles each 64 cm long, and the bottom is boxed to make it a little roomy.
The bag folds up to fit inside its own matching pouch measuring 15 cm across and 20 cm long.
The inside pocket is 14 cm by 12 cm and edged with a blue binding. It is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short, cool cycle, and hang up to dry on a line or clothes rack.
I like to recycle. Your bag will arrive wrapped in clean, reused packaging and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
Inspiration: This fabulous print was first designed in the 1920s, though it has been tweaked many times since. I love that faded country house glamour with its end of the summer vibe. A nice tote bag shows it off in style.
