Large lavender bag recycled from vintage embroidered crinoline lady table cloth

This sweet lavender bag or pouch is upcycled from a vintage embroidery with a crinoline lady and her floral basket on the front. On the back is a bunch of flowers from her garden. The fabric was a little threadbare, but I was able to rescue enough for a pair of sweet vintage embroidered lavender bags. Inside, is a small muslin bag filled with lavender from the Lavender Farm in North Yorkshire. There is a hook to pop it over a clothes hanger and keep away pesky moths, or hang it up and admire the craft work. Lavender is that ancient remedy for sleep, so put this lavender bag under your pillow and dream gardens of flowers! It would make a nice housewarming present, as storage for a wedding dress, or as a thank you gift for a bridesmaid. The bag has a handy hook, and measures approx 11 cm by 13 cm, slightly larger than my usual lavender bags. There are two tiny buttons on the back, and inside is a muslin bag of dried lavender Your bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled packaging and sent by Royal Mail 2nd class. Inspiration: I am amazed that there are still crinoline ladies to be found! But I love finding these old and faded embroideries. They make up into the sweetest of accessories, and are perfect for pretty Lavender bags.
