Full description
After an autumn storm I found a driftwood plank and a wooden cigar box panel on the beach at Hythe. I used these finds to create this table lamp. I also re-purposed a metal and glass tea light lantern.
The lamp comes supplied with a Lunnom 1.7w (approximately equivalent to a 22W incandescent light bulb) E14 LED chandelier light bulb (210lm) with brown coloured glass.
The wooden panel is from a La Paz Wilde cigarros cigar box.
The lamp uses a pre-wired Ikea Strala white 4 m cord set with plug, in-line rocker switch and an E14 light fitting.
The cord set carries the CE mark which means that it conforms to electrical safety standards. I have not made any changes to this component.
The base of the lamp has been covered with leather to provide a smooth surface that will not scratch your furniture.
