Soft blues and gentle greys are lifted by narrow random stripes of handspun Rambouillet in shades of purple and golden yellow, creating a beautifully subtle play of colour across this one-of-a-kind handwoven scarf.
The scarf combines carefully chosen commercial warp yarns with handspun weft yarns, giving the fabric both structure and character. The soft blue Merino and Tussah silk handspun brings a gentle sheen, while the variegated Rambouillet stripes add depth and individuality to the design.
At approximately 23.5cm wide and 1.87m long (plus fringe), it is a versatile length for wrapping once or twice around the neck, providing warmth without excessive bulk.
Every scarf I weave is unique, making this a distinctive accessory for autumn and winter wear or a thoughtful handmade gift.
