Full description
A vibrant handwoven scarf inspired by warm autumn colours, featuring rich red handspun colour blocks separated by narrow green stripes and woven on an orange-toned warp.
The warp combines recycled fibre yarns with wool, creating a lively background of orange with subtle flashes of yellow and green. Against this, the handspun weft builds layers of warm reds and greens, giving the scarf depth, texture and movement.
The handspun yarns include Corriedale blended with sari silk, soft Bluefaced Leicester wool and a merino/silk blend. Together they create a fabric that is colourful, textured and full of character, with occasional hints of silk adding interest and subtle lustre.
The combination of recycled and natural fibres makes this a distinctive contemporary textile that celebrates both creativity and resourcefulness.
