Full description
A fun beach bag, upcycled from a Devon English Riviera tea towel. It is covered with lovely illustrations of Torbay, Brixham, Paignton and Torquay.
Great as a beach bag, as a bag for washing, or just as a place for storage. It also looks great hanging up as a piece of art work in its own right!
It would make a personal Fathers' Day present, or perhaps as a memento for anyone longing for The English Riviera.
The bag measures 44 cm wide and 39 cm long when it is laid flat. It has been backed onto cotton to strengthen it, but it is still a soft bag. The ends are boxed slightly for extra room.
The 2 hand held straps are each 45 cm long
There is a facing around the edge for a nice finish. One side is striped, and one side is made from the last scrap of tea towel.
It has a yellow striped fabric back, and a black striped ticking lining, and is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Inspiration: Beautiful Devon, who can resist an English Riviera illustration? Not me. I love to find old tea towels brought back from British holidays full of old memories. Theres something very personal about that. It's nice to find a new way to show case them.
Please wash on a short cool cycle, and leave to dry naturally.
