Full description
A makeup bag or purse recycled from a pretty vintage embroidered tray cloth. This floral vintage tray cloth with its sweet pale flowers, needed some TLC in places, but still had enough about it to produce a set of zipped little bags.
These little bags are always useful for makeup, hand bag organising or for storing headphones or ear buds.
They would make a perfect present for a Summer Birthday, as a gift for a bridesmaid or to take to a wedding as a pretty handbag organiser.
The bag measures 16 cm by 12 cm and has a 16 cm mauve zip opening with a flower head pull.
The front has a spray of pastel embroidered flowers, and the back is a tiny spray made from another section of the same tablecloth.
The lining is a floral print from a discarded dress, and there is a useful finger hook for hanging up and admiring this pretty embroidered purse.
The bag is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short cool setting, and leave to dry naturally.
Your bag will be posted out in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as RM 2nd class.
Inspiration: This vintage embroidery was a great find in a charity shop. It was nice to make it into some pretty and practical things once again.
