Full description
Pretty, dainty bracelet featuring a row of seven genuine Emerald rondelles set between a pair of Austrian green crystal bicones, highlighted with tiny 1.8mm gold vermeil spacers.
The Emerald beads vary in size from 2x3mm-3x5mm, and are natural and untreated.
They are opaque and vary in hue from a pale sage green to a darker forest green.
The circle continues with rows of five 4mm frosted green Aventurine separated with gold vermeil beads.
The green Aventurine beads are a lovely sage green colour of varying hues, set off by the shine of gold vermeil.
Gold vermeil is sterling silver that has been plated with 18k gold.
Emerald is the birthstone for May and the Zodiac sign of Taurus and the stone for the 20th wedding anniversary.
This green member of the Beryl family, prized for thousands of years, is believed to help the wearer foresee the future, reveal truth and protect against evil spells.
Green Aventurine, like most green stones, is thought to bring inner peace, tranquility and enhance self-esteem.
It is sometimes called the the Stone of Luck, or the Gambler's stone, as it is believed that carrying a piece of Aventurine will attract wealth and good fortune.
Handmade in my home workshop here in beautiful Devon in the UK, this would make a lovely gift for those born in May, a 20th anniversary present, or as a treat for yourself.
This stretch bracelet measures approximately 6.5 inches (16.5cm), which is perfect for a 6 inch (15cm) wrist
