Full description
This summery yellow, orange and brown necklace features a 1.25 inch (3cm) pendant of three natural Citrine nuggets, set between a pair of 6mm grey Agate beads and ten gorgeous, pale lemon, translucent, natural Citrine nuggets.
Citrine is the yellow form of Quartz, and gets its colour from traces of iron in the Quartz.
Natural Citrine is usually a pale lemon colour - deeper yellow and orange-yellow stones are generally produced by heat-treating Amethyst.
These un-treated nuggets have a pale, delicate, lemon colour with excellent, almost luminous clarity.
The nuggets vary in size - the smallest ones have an approximate length of 5mm, the largest 10mm.
Polished 6mm banded Agate and Ambronite beads graduate to 4mm beads of the same stones.
Beads of 4mm golden Hematite to bring out the colours of the Citrine and Ambronite, and add shine.
The necklace fastens with a Tibetan style rose toggle clasp in an antique gold finish, which is nickel and lead free.
Citrine is the birthstone for November and Scorpio.
It is thought to bring happiness and abundance, to absorb and ground negative energy and replace it with positive energy.
Known as the 'merchant's stone', Citrine is also believed to attract wealth and good fortune.
This necklace measures approximately 16 inches (41cm), excluding the pendant, which is quite short, almost choker style - contact me if you want the length altered.
Your necklace will be wrapped in tissue and presented in a pretty organza gift bag.
