Drawing inspiration from vintage sewing patterns, mid-century design, Regency novels and nostalgic yearnings, I create things that remind us we can live an analogue life: one with a favourite book, a cup of tea and a cosy corner. An analogue life in which getting dressed up to go out dancing without filming it for social media is more fun. An analogue life in which it is an acceptable use of time to sit and watch that old black and white film whilst creating something by hand.
I love creating items that will hopefully become a beloved piece and be passed down as a family heirloom.

I am selling my acrylic yarn stash, and some of my polyester fabrics as although I personally don't want to use these fibres anymore, I know that many people do, to create beautiful, useful items that will have a long and happy life.
Bow ties are cool! As once said a certain Doctor. However I thought they were cool long before that... Doctor Jones, Mr Bond, Fred Astaire...
I love the vintage look of them and wanted to re-create that style, with modern, themed or unusual fabrics. I went overboard and made lots...

A bowtie for the musician in your life...
This bowtie features music on an off-white back ground. Ideal to wear for a concert, presentation or performance be it classical or modern, this tie will release your vintage classiness!
Adjustable with silver-coloured metal hook fastenings up to 46cm. The actual bow measures 11X6 cm approximately and the band is 2cm wide.
Machine wash at 30 degrees delicate or hand wash, preferably in a suitable wash-bag and air-dry (outside, radiator or hung over a heated airer.) for best results and longevity.
The tie can be taken apart for ironing if needed, take notes/photos of how you did it, step by step, so you can put it back together again when you have done!
Steam or dry-iron using a pressing cloth to prevent fabric going shiny.
I created various bow ties with new, pre-washed, cotton, poly-cotton and linen blend fabrics.
