Drawing inspiration from vintage sewing patterns, mid-century design, Regency novels and nostalgic yearnings, I create things that remind us we can live an analogue life: one with a favourite book, a cup of tea and a cosy corner. An analogue life in which getting dressed up to go out dancing without filming it for social media is more fun. An analogue life in which it is an acceptable use of time to sit and watch that old black and white film whilst creating something by hand.
I love creating items that will hopefully become a beloved piece and be passed down as a family heirloom.

I am selling my acrylic yarn stash, and some of my polyester fabrics as although I personally don't want to use these fibres anymore, I know that many people do, to create beautiful, useful items that will have a long and happy life.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

When you need something pretty to protect your favourite book, or something unique for your notebook, this could be just what you have been looking for.
Oeko-tex certified, Liberty cotton fabric 'Ribbon Bloom' forms the main body of this handy cover whilst the backing is polycotton. The phrase 'My Favourite book' and the flowers are hand-embroidered by me with 100% silk thread on a polycotton label edged with upcycled lace. Polyester ribbon ties help keep the pages together and the same ribbon has been used to create a feature strip on the back, machine embroidered, to create a tactile feeling.
A cotton 'handmade' label has been glued using non-toxic fabric glue onto the inside back pocket.
This will fit an 21cm x 13.5cm x 3.5cm book. Check your size carefully before ordering. There is a paper label with fabric details and with the price visible, if you are gifting this, you may want to cut the price out. I have inserted a piece of patterned card to help the cover keep it's shape. This can be cut into strips and used as bookmarks or kept as is for an extra layer of protection.
This is re-usable and washable on 30degrees or hand wash, iron on reverse.
